August 6 2008, 9:34am
Welcome to the first episode of the S60 Apps Podcast! In this Podcast I will discuss one S60 app per episode. I'll try to keep the show fairly short but still give a general overview about the app, the pros and cons, and include the app as the next entry in the Podcast RSS feed so you can easily download the app after listening to the show.I've been thinking about doing this show for a while and now I've finally put the S60AppsPodcast.com site together and started recording episodes. In this episode I discuss the puzzle game Frozen Bubble!- Explain the background of Frozen Bubble, it was first developed for GNU/Linux and was later ported to other platforms.- Hear me badly mispronounce both the developer of the GNU/Linux version (Guillaume Cottenceau) and the developer of the S60 port (Elias Konstantinidis). My apologies ;-)- Plusses of the game.- Negatives of the game.- Why Frozen Bubble has a special place in my heart..Links:Main Frozen Bubble websiteFrozen Bubble for S60 websiteHope that you've enjoyed the first episode. I listen to many podcasts but this is the first Podcast I'm doing myself so it might be a little rough here or there, but I'll try to improve things as I record new episodes.Don't forget to subscribe to the show at: http://www.S60AppsPodcast.com/rssStandard Disclaimer: I work for Nokia but the views expressed in this Podcast are my opinions, and do not necessarily represent the views of Nokia.
